Contest Submission Guidelines | General Submission Guidelines Möbius, The Poetry Magazine 2012 Celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a Special Issue. HOLD ALL SUBMISSIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Please check website after March 1, 2014. In the interest of excellence, poets may email us: mobiusmag@earthlink.net, as word attachment or pasted in document, the following -- only 3 poems (maximum of 50 lines per poem.) -- no racial slurs, no profanity, no erotic poems, no long poems. -- traditional and non-traditional forms welcome. Include sase with snail mailed poems and 35-word bio. 1 poem out of 3 which was 1st or 2nd prize winner in a major national contest or Pushcart prize winner -- this year only even if previously published, as long as the poet owns copyright. -- identify the contest, year and where published, if applicable. 2nd poem with an international slant such as experiences abroad or whatever - real or imagined -- 3rd poem can be either about something connected with 30 years such as a birthday, anniversary or something celebratory, etc. Or else a poem that fits Möbius’ regular 8 categories below. Or in lieu of the above, poets may email as attachment up to 3 poems from Möbius 8 categories below: (write your suggested category/ies on each poem AND contact information) Include YOUR NAME as the file name of the attached poem (title of the attached file). Please do not use the file name Möbius. Mobius 8 Categories: Family & Relationships Be sure your Name, Mailing Address, Email Address, Telephone Number And Suggested Category appears on every poem - not just on cover letter, if you send optional cover letter. 2012 CONTEST FINAL CONTEST DEADLINE IS JULY 31, 2012 To enter 4Th Dr. Zylpha Mapp Robinson International Poetry Award, First Prize: $200, 2nd Prize: (selected Möbius) 3rd Prize (Audiobook: “Poetry Among the Flowers: Queens Meets Asia” by Juanita Torrence-Thompson). 3 Honorable Mentions. THEME from our 8 Mobius categories. Not mandatory, but preferably at least one humorous or celebratory poem. - ALL poems are considered for publication.
